About Us

Fri 5 Jun - 14:00 by DaveG

Welcome.
Fartcan racing is an Online sim racing community, a few guys who started out racing with no Sim racing experience and found that the major race leagues are packed with experienced Sim Racerss who’ve been doing this for years and as a result we found it difficult to be competitive, so we decided to create a Race League for those starting out or those who are not at the pointy end ...

Round 4

Post by DaveG on Fri 30 Oct - 11:41

The Championship is a close fought battle at the moment with 2 rounds remaining after Suzuka we've got Nib with a small margin then 5 drivers all with over 200 points and all a chance to finish the season with a podium spot. and a signature displaying that podium result, so that when they post on the forum everyone will know they were at the pointy end in the FCR PCC07 Championship. Good Luck to All.

This Monday we will return to Porsche Carrera Cup 2007 Championship. We're Off to Suzuka West track in Japan

Our connection issues may or may not be sorted for Monday Night, but the good news is the speed will be increased by approx 20 times by using Broadband Xtreme Cable.

Race 1 x 7 laps no fuel stop,
Race 2 x 15 Laps. Fuel burn will be set to create a Race 2 pit stop. Reverse grid of Race 1 finish order and weight penalties for Top 5 depending on number of starters.

Track: Suzuka West

When: Monday 2nd November
Time: 8:30pm Sharp
Mod: Porsche Carrera Cup Aus, Asia< Germany
Race Format: 10 Min official Practice, 10 Min Qualifying

guys at turn 2 please be careful when rejoining, and dont go to fast or you will end up over the wall on the LONG suzuka track....dave i am currently running 14k connection in rf settings as if i raise it i will cause a lag spike or warp, but so far it is hanging in the balance OK

oh well i hope everyone enjoyed the race tonight, it sounded good, i am definately in the FVRs next week as the bandaid is off and a bandage is on the warping and lag ect....hopefully i can cement it Razz Razz then throw a sledy at it to see if it brakes.

The room was a little bit quieter last night with 8 in the first race and with late comer au scooby 9 in the 2nd race. The lag/warping seemed to be gone (but so was lachlan) Very Happy

Well done to Adnan who took out POLE for the first race. (I wish I had put more fuel in) Very Happy There was a bit of paint swapping at the 2nd corner with some of the field and Adnan and I where away. Then not sure what happened Adnan, but we started spinning didn't we and LordOfTheRims took the lead. Adnan ended up winning the race with LordOfTheRims and myself making up the podium.

With new comer au scooby joining the second race and having seen his lap times the race would be tough. Although he was starting at the rear he had no weight. RawPrawn got off to a great start and was trying to build a lead. au scooby was making his way through the field with some great driving. He managed to catch RawPrawn on the last lap and take the win. Maybe changing the tyres might of helpped RawPrawn bad luck!
Well done to au scooby for the win
